A quick night away staying at Foreland Bothy near the lighthouse on Countisbury Hill. We arrived mid-afternoon down the wiggly road towards the lighthouse and unlocked the big wooden doors covering the front of the bothy. After a cup of tea and many games of 'roll the ball down the hill' we set of along the coast path in the Porlock direction on the hunt for the honesty cafe.
We found the table, chairs and well stocked cool box at Glenthorne woods. There was even a book to log your visit with a drawing. Well fueled we carried on through the woods before returning back along the track to the cafe.
Following a camp stove curry we had a fab fire and then wandered to the lighthouse before darkness. Time for hot chocolate, chocolate one side biscuits and a few games of Uno.
The next day we drove along the coast via Porlock Hill to Minehead where we met with family for a yummy Sunday lunch.
